Product Manager

Rate - Up to £500 per day overall assignment rate to umbrella.

Location - London or Coventry hybrid working.

Duration - 3-6 month contract

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Product Manager to lead our Advertising & Marketing Discovery initiatives. In this role, you will be the driving force behind the product strategy and execution for our seasonal promotional campaigns, including major events like Easter, Father's Day, and Christmas.

Your primary focus will be on the discovery phase of the product lifecycle-understanding customer needs, market trends, and business opportunities to build and optimise advertising and marketing solutions. You'll be responsible for creating and delivering a compelling pricing strategy that empowers our sales teams and drives revenue growth. This role requires a blend of creative thinking, analytical rigor, and a deep understanding of the retail and advertising landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define and execute the product vision and strategy for advertising and marketing discovery, with a special focus on seasonal promotional campaigns.
  • Customer & Market Discovery: Conduct in-depth research to identify customer pain points, market opportunities, and competitive trends related to retail advertising and promotions.
  • Pricing Strategy: Develop and own the pricing strategy for our advertising products. This includes analysing market data, understanding competitor pricing, and creating pricing models that are both competitive and profitable.
  • Sales Enablement: Work closely with the sales team to ensure they have the tools, knowledge, and strategic guidance to effectively sell our advertising solutions.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, data science, and senior leadership, to align on product goals and roadmaps.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation and discovery through to launch and post-launch optimisation.
  • Performance Analysis: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of your products and iterate based on data-driven insights.
Experience & Skills
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably within the retail, e-commerce, or ad-tech industries.
    • Proven experience in developing and executing pricing strategies.
    • Demonstrated success in managing a product through its full lifecycle, from discovery to launch.
    • Experience with seasonal or promotional marketing campaigns is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and translate complex ideas into actionable product roadmaps.
    • Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis skills with the ability to define KPIs and use data to make informed decisions.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate a vision and influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Collaboration: A natural collaborator who can work effectively with diverse teams and personalities.
    • Business Acumen: A solid understanding of business models, revenue drivers, and the commercial aspects of product development.
