Client is looking for a Product Strategy & Marketing Manager who is excited by the opportunity to build and manage a new acquisition channel.
The ideal candidate is someone who has a good understanding of the telecom landscape, experience working on consumer products, and an interest in consumer apps.
This individual should have a track record of planning and writing announcements, and working cross-functionally across product, policy, marketing and partners.
Excellent strategic thinking, cross-functional influence, analytical and communication skills are a must, as well as comfort with ambiguity
Responsibilities:
- Help shape the tone for telco-focused products, to create messaging and tactics that will resonate with carriers, OEMs.
- Write content such as comms guidelines and other materials to communicate the value of products to partners.
- Collaborate across multiple functions including product, marketing, policy content, and other communications functions.
- Lead market assessment, quantitative analysis, qualitative feedback, and represent the market internally with Product Management and Engineering.
- Define and manage comprehensive go-to-market strategy and plan including positioning, policy, and launch strategy.
- Partner effectively with Product Management to lead world-class product marketing communications for new products.
- Communicate the value proposition of new products to all go-to-market teams and ensure that effective sales support materials and packages are created
- Grow product adoption and usage rates by supporting market facing programs and effective product launches
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in marketing, consulting, communications, or internet technology
- Analytical, data-driven decision-maker
- Experience partnering with product teams to identify and bring to market solutions for businesses
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive results, and developing and executing against global launch plans to bring products to market
- BA/BS degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in official communications and strategy space
