Position Partnership Programme Manager, CMB Marketing, HSBC UK

Role Type: 12 month contract - full time (35 hours per week)

Workplace: Minimum of 3 days in the office

Reports to: Senior Marketing Manager, Partnership & Events

Role overview

A fantastic opportunity to manage the strategy, growth and development of the new Small Business Growth programme (SBGP). Whilst the role will initially support this programme, there will be at least one other programme requiring management that this role would also manage.

The role will incorporate high levels of both internal and external stakeholder exposure and you’ll work closely with multiple teams across marketing acting as the lead point of contact responsible for the overall delivery of the programme and ensuring all elements are being delivered on time and to a high standard.

You will have a passion for delivering phenomenal work that keeps small business owners coming back for more.

Small business growth programme overview

Recently launched in May 2025 the SBGP programme equips SMEs with the knowledge and resources they need to help them start and grow their business. The programme will support SME resilience and showcase our commitment to small business.

Grounded in insight from 500+ businesses - the programme will provide practical education, economics insight and inspirational content, delivered through digital training, face to face events and editorial with the ambition to support SME’s across the UK at scale.

Job description

As the programme manager you will be responsible for delivering high quality project management across multiple areas including:

- Timelines and activity runways

- Managing the programme partners which include Microsoft and WIRED

- Manging internal senior stakeholders

- Managing all project calls

- Budget management

- Review and approval of new assets or communications connected to the programme

- Tracking and reporting

This role will suit a can-do individual with a positive attitude, good organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. You will have a flair for problem-solving, a drive for excellence, and a track record of successfully managing large projects with multiple moving parts.

This role will see you manage internal resources, external partners and client contacts - something that will require fantastic people skills. Clear communication skills will be crucial as will the ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently and as part of a team.
