This is a fantastic Sales Manager opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-growing festival promoter overseeing a portfolio of UK and European music festivals. With a passion for live experiences and a commitment to innovation, our client deliver unforgettable events that bring people together. They are seeking a Sales Manager to join their innovative team.

About the Sales Manager role:

The successful Sales Manager will leverage their interpersonal skills and industry expertise to identify potential brand partnership opportunities for our client’s growing portfolio of assets. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Building and maintaining strong external relationships with potential sponsors, corporate partners, and supporters, through securing and leading new business meetings
  • Qualifying new business discussions and close brand partnerships deal to achieve your personal annual target
  • Collaborating with the rest of the team to develop and produce partnership strategies that drive engagement and maximise value for both parties
  • Negotiation of partnership agreements and contracts
  • Creating sales materials such as pitch decks, making updates and changes where necessary
  • Successfully pitching creative and strategic presentations to win new business
  • Utilisation of LinkedIn, social media, and networking at events to source new leads and prospects
  • Managing and maintain the partnerships CRM pipeline

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong experience in music brand partnerships (ideal)
  • A personal network of global brand partners in Europe, US and Africa (ideal)
  • A strong affinity and deep knowledge of the Afrobeats and Amapiano culture (ideal)
  • A high level of self-motivation - they will be reliable and thrive on cultivating connections
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills and used to working in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and the ability to ensure all outputs are of the highest quality
  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills
  • Strong entrepreneurial skills and commercial awareness
  • Ability to work with senior contacts and co-ordinate the activities of staff and contributors at all levels both internally and externally
  • Resilience and ability to tackle challenges constructively and find creative ways forward
