Ryder Reid Legal is currently recruiting for a Senior BD Manager to join one of our prestigious, global law firm clients at their London office, to elevate brand presence and expand their client base. This pivotal role involves developing and executing strategic marketing and business development plans, supervising the London Practice Development Manager, and collaborating with the global team to align efforts with firm-wide priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies, including thought leadership, event planning, and client education.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with clients, industry associations, and professional services firms.
  • Collaborate with London Partners to identify and pursue high-value business opportunities.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
  • Advise Partners on public relations, marketing, and business development matters.
  • Work with the media relations team to raise attorney profiles through trending topics.
  • Oversee digital distribution of newsletters, social media posts, and other marketing content.
  • Partner with the events team to ensure effective promotion of the Firm's services.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
  • Represent the firm at industry events and networking functions.
  • Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing regular reports and recommendations.
  • Lead and mentor the London Practice Development Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing.
  • 10-15 years of experience in marketing/business development within professional services; law firm experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM Systems, and Adobe InDesign.
