An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim IT Consultant (Director) to lead a strategic transformation within a respected organisation based in the City of London.
This executive-level role will oversee the entire IT function, a project reviewing the departmental design (people) and aligning structure, systems and processes to enhance performance and support organisational goals. With a strong focus on digital transformation, Gen AI, and the development of both a refreshed Digital Strategy and a new Data Strategy, the postholder will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s digital future.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the redesign and optimisation of IT Teams, architecture and systems.
- Act as custodian of the organisation’s information strategy and infrastructure planning.
- Contribute to strategic and operational planning, risk governance and service innovation.
- Oversee IT service delivery, major project management, procurement and budgeting.
- Build and lead a high-performing, customer-focused IT team aligned to organisational values.
- Establish robust partnerships across senior leadership to deliver digital excellence.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven leadership in large-scale IT transformation, working closely with HR & People within complex organisations.
- Strong track record in digital and data strategy, service redesign and change management.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, governance, and communication skills.
- Adept at leading high-performing, customer-centred IT functions.
- Relevant qualifications (degree and/or Level 7 equivalent; BCS or similar membership desirable).
