Deputy Manager - Children’s Residential HomeSalary: £35,000 plusLocation: NW9 London

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the effective running of our children’s residential home. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional with leadership experience in residential childcare to take the next step in their career.

As Deputy Manager, you’ll play a vital role in the day-to-day operation of the home, leading shifts, supporting staff, and ensuring the highest standards of care and safeguarding for the young people we support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Registered Manager in the overall management and daily operations of the home
  • Lead shifts and provide clear, consistent supervision and support to the care team
  • Ensure all safeguarding, care planning, and documentation meets regulatory standards
  • Work as part of the rota, including days, floor duties, and sleep-in shifts where required
  • Promote a safe, nurturing, and positive environment for children and young people
