KM Recruitment is seeking a Residential Childcare Assessor for home and field-based positions.
The role requires a recognized Assessor award and a Level 3 or above qualification in Residential Childcare.
Candidates should have experience in assessing Residential Childcare Apprenticeships and must hold a full UK driving license.
The salary for this full-time, permanent position ranges from £28,500 to £32,000, depending on experience.
Successful applicants will support learners in achieving their qualifications and will need to be flexible with travel.

Must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
Hold a level 3 or above in Residential Childcare.
Have experience of Assessing Residential Childcare Apprenticeships (doesn’t have to be recent!)
Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

Assess and support a caseload of learners working towards Residential Childcare Apprenticeships Level 3-5 (depending on competency)
Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to Level 2.
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely reviews and meetings are conducted.
Conduct online video meetings and training sessions with learners.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
