Are you an experienced and caring Early Years practitioner looking for a rewarding full-time role in a supportive primary school setting?

Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to be working with a welcoming primary school in Haringey to recruit a Childcare Assistant to join their Nursery team from September 2025.

This full-time position (35 hours per week, term time only) offers an exciting opportunity to support nursery-aged children during the most crucial stage of their development.

The role will involve delivering a play-based curriculum, supporting children in their personal and social development, and encouraging independent learning through carefully structured activities.

In addition to supporting learning, the successful candidate will contribute to the day-to-day care of the classroom. This includes helping to maintain a safe, clean, and organised learning environment - tidying, some cleaning duties, and setting up resources for the day's activities.

The ideal candidate will have at least six months' experience working in an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting and a good understanding of child development. A Level 2 qualification in Childcare or EYFS is highly desirable. Above all, we are looking for someone with warmth, patience, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
