Our aim is to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children aged 1 to 6 years old can learn, play, and thrive. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our new venture.

The Role:We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and professional Full-Time Childcare Professional to join our team. You will be responsible for the daily care, supervision, and engagement of children aged 1 to 6 within our creche. This role requires a commitment to providing outstanding childcare, fostering a positive learning environment, and maintaining excellent communication with parents and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children in your care.
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities and experiences that promote children's development across all areas (e.g., physical, social, emotional, cognitive).
  • Supervise children closely, always ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Observe and monitor children's progress, providing feedback as required
  • Assist with daily routines including mealtimes, snack times, nappy changing/toileting, and rest periods.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and tidy creche environment
  • Adhere to all creche policies and procedures, including health and safety, safeguarding, and equal opportunities
  • Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

About You:

  • Proven experience in a childcare setting, working with children aged 1 to 6 years
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development
  • Willingness to undertake further training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Possess a professional appearance and a courteous, approachable manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and highly organised
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
  • Knowledge of relevant childcare legislation and best practices (desirable)
  • A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Early Years, NVQ in Childcare) is highly desirable
