An exceptional Nursery in East London is looking for an 'Outstanding' Nursery Assistant to start immediately. This Nursery offers many incentives for length of service including fantastic facilities and resources, including fantastic outdoor play area. This opportunity is to work in the toddler room with 18 month - 2.5 year olds. The Nursery has 2 locations in East London and is looking to recruit for both sites. If you are an exceptional Nursery Assistant and looking for an exciting new opportunity.

Nursery Assistant will need to be:

  • NNEB, NVQ3, BTEC or a Childcare Qualification.
  • A commitment to ensuring that all our children can be the best they can be.
  • A passion and enthusiasm to work with children.
  • A positive, patient, and nurturing approach towards children.
  • Confidence and is able to work one to one and deal with challenging situations.
  • A positive attitude and approachable manner.
  • A desire and ability to contribute fully to Nursery life.
  • High expectations of self and others.
  • The ability to work flexibly as part of as team.
  • The capability to develop effective relationships with children, colleagues and parents.
  • Good communication skills (oral and written).

Nursery Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out duties in accordance with the nursery's aims and objectives.
  • Liaise with colleagues to deliver units of work in a collaborative way in accordance with the Nursery Development Plan.
  • Be an exemplar Nursery Assistant.
  • Share in the responsibility for the well-being and discipline of all children.
