We are seeking a dedicated Residential Childcare Workers to join a children’s residential home based in Ealing.  This role involves shift work, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and bank holidays. The position offers a supportive environment where you can make a significant impact on the lives of children in residential care.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide care and support to children and young people in the residential home, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met.
  • Engage children in activities that encourage their social, intellectual, and emotional development.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for the children.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members and participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  • Document and report on children’s progress and any incidents that occur, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to safeguarding procedures.
  • Support children in their daily routines and help them develop life skills.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years' experience in an Ofsted Regulated Residential Children's Home 
  • Must be able to undertake at least one sleep in shift per week,14:00- 00:00 and some late shifts up to 22:00
  • Ability to work shifts, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Candidates without NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) will be required to undertake this qualification within 12 months of employment, subject to terms.
