Electrical Project Manager
Eastcheap, London | Full-Time | Permanent |

Ivy Resource Group is recruiting on behalf of a tier 1 contractor, looking for a highly capable and motivated Electrical Project Manager to join their London team based in Eastcheap. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver high-value projects within a market-leading engineering and infrastructure company.

The Opportunity
In this role, you'll be responsible for managing electrical projects from inception through to handover. You will take full ownership of delivery-technically, commercially, and operationally-ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead the full lifecycle of electrical projects, from planning and procurement to commissioning and completion

  • Drive project delivery in line with safety, quality, and cost expectations

  • Manage project teams, subcontractors, and internal resources

  • Monitor progress and performance, reporting regularly to senior stakeholders

  • Maintain strong client relationships and handle all client-facing communication

  • Ensure all work complies with regulatory and company standards

  • Oversee commercial management including budgeting, cost control, and change management

  • Create and maintain detailed project documentation including risk assessments and method statements

  • Lead health and safety initiatives across all project activities

  • Support successful project handover and ongoing client support

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience in managing electrical projects (preferably within M&E environments)

  • Proven ability to lead project teams and manage multiple subcontractors

  • Technical understanding of electrical installation and commissioning

  • Familiarity with commercial elements including cost reporting and contract variations

  • Experience delivering projects over 2m in value

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Healthcare project experience is advantageous

Skills & Qualifications

  • HNC, ONC, or BEng (Hons) in Electrical or Building Services Engineering - essential/preferable

  • SMSTS - preferable

  • IOSH or other health and safety qualifications - preferable

  • CSCS card - essential

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project
