My clients is a Tier 1 M&E contractor specialising in several sectors Pharmaceutical, Commercial, Data Centre and Petrochemical. The business has seen a significant amount of growth in the last 5 Years. With a traditional engineering mindset and reinvestment into new principals, the business expects the next two years to be a similar period of growth. After a successful year they now sit at an international turnover of over £500m. They have just been appointed on a new build commercial office block in the heart of London.

Role/Responsibilities:

  • Management of subcontractor labour
  • RFI’s and technical submittals
  • All health and safety
  • Review and amend RAMS
  • Design Review liaising with consultants, client and main contractor Snagging
  • Testing and commissioning
  • Driving job
  • Procurement
  • Leading the project from a commercial aspect
  • Chairing meetings internally and externally
  • Management of commissioning stages and project handover to the client
  • Tender review and validation

The ideal candidate:

  • Progressed from a tools background and have good technical knowledge of electrical services.
  • Experience working in the laboratory, commercial or healthcare sector
  • Experience managing projects to a minimum of £2M within your own discipline
