Role Details:

• Location: London(N18Area)
• Start Date:07/05/25
• Duration:Ongoing
• Working Hours:Monday to Friday, 07:30-18:00
• Pay Rate:300 per shift (only pay PAYE Direct or Umbrella) depending on experience, qualifications and pay method

We are seeking a reliable and experienced General foreman/Woman to work for our tier 1 civil contractor in North London. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and experienced General foreman/Woman to look after and manage a highways sub-contractor on the project.

Role Overview:

As a reliable and experienced General foreman/Woman you will be managing a working sub-contractor who will be completing highway works from road formation, kerb laying and all other aspects of highways on site. As the General foreman/Woman you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of duties, whilst keeping safety standards to a exceptional high standard including:

Key Responsibilities working and knowledge of:

• Managing of the sub-contractors work to a high standard (quality of work is paramount)
• Raise any issues to the sub-contractor and piers on the project
• Able to read and understand drawing
• Able to identify improvements and recommendations and be able to put this into practice.
• Able to carry out tests to ensure quality of the sub-contractors work
• Following all health and safety procedures and following of RAMS

Requirements:

• Must have Gold CSCS card as a minimum. but ideally black managers CSCS card
• Must hold a minimum SSSTS, ideally SMSTS
• Ideally hold basic First Aid
• Experience as a Foreman/woman isessential
• Experience in highway works isessential
• PPE will be provided.
• Strong attention to safety and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
