Although we're happy to consider applicants with more or less experience, you'll ideally have qualifications, experience or skills in the following areas:
Educated to a minimum Degree level in Civil Engineering, or equivalent;
- Have attained or in the process of attaining Chartered Status;
Experience in managing and leading client relationships, reporting on progress and managing work within budget and to programme;
Able to check and sign off technical design work
Experience in the planning, design and construction of residential, commercial and industrial developments from conception to technical approval;
Experience in working in collaborative teams with clients, contractors, external design team members, local authorities, statutory bodies and other third parties;
Design and specification of highways and civil drainage;
An understanding of service utilities, and external works design and modelling;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prepare reports on technical matters;
Use of technical design tools such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage and AutoCAD, or equivalents.
