As their operations continue to expand, my client is seeking experienced and innovative Technical Managers to provide expert engineering support across bids and live projects.

The Role
The Technical Manager will play a key role in driving innovation, solving engineering challenges, and ensuring technical excellence across project delivery and pre-construction activities. Reporting to an Engineering Manager, this individual will:
路Deliver innovative temporary works solutions for both live projects and tender submissions.
路Provide technical leadership and guidance to site and bid teams on design management and temporary works procedures.
路Ensure compliance with safety standards and technical approval processes, both internally and with clients.
路Represent the business in technical discussions with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and suppliers.
路Conduct site visits, inspections, and technical audits, offering coaching to Temporary Works Coordinators.
路Actively contribute to personal development and support the continuous improvement of engineering practices.

Qualifications & Experience
路Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or related discipline
路Site-based construction or civil engineering experience (highly desirable)
路Sound understanding of temporary works design and engineering methodologies
路Working toward or holding membership with a professional body such as the ICE
路Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, designers, and supply chain partners
路Familiarity with engineering software, CAD tools, and BIM (preferred)
路Passion for technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
