In this newly created position, you'll have the autonomy to build and grow the department from the ground up - leading on design, managing a variety of exciting projects, and playing a pivotal role in the company's strategic growth.

In the early stages, you'll be hands-on - delivering technical work, designing, and ensuring high-quality output. Over time, you'll take a leading role in scaling the department, recruiting new team members, and building efficient workflows to support long-term success.

The Role:* Lead and shape the new Structural Engineering department* Deliver high-quality designs and calculations across Commercial and Residential schemes* Engage directly with clients and internal teams to develop innovative structural solutions* Use structural design software including Tedds, Tekla Structural Designer, and AutoCAD

The Person:* Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering* Ideally chartered, or working towards chartership* Strong experience in Commercial and Residential sectors* Confident using structural design tools (e.g., Tedds, Tekla, AutoCAD)* Full UK driving licence
