About the company:

A leading M&E contractor, part of a large group company who specialise in delivery large M&E installation projects from £10m - £80m predominantly in the Commercial Office, Data Centre and media space. 

Do to a successful securing a number of new contracts for 2025 they require a number of seasoned Mechanical Project Manager ideally wit new build commercial office experience to join their teams on brand new projects througjout Zone's 1&2 of London. 

Role Overview:

The Mechanical Project Manager will lead the Mechanical team and play a crucial role in overseeing mechanical installations design phase through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include project planning, resource allocation, cost management, and ensuring timely delivery. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, including profit margins, preliminary costs, and procurement expenses.
  • Program Implementation: Create detailed project schedules and programs to enable accurate progress monitoring and reporting.
  • Resource Management: Secure and allocate the necessary resources to effectively and efficiently deliver the project or scheme.
  • Professional Delivery: Ensure successful project completion within specified constraints while maintaining a professional approach.
  • Quality Plan Development: Implement and oversee the creation of the Project Quality Plan and Trade Quality Plans.
  • Defect Rectification: Manage procedures for identifying and addressing defects.
  • Project Handover: Ensure a successful and seamless handover of the project, providing support to the customer or end user throughout the process
