Job Title: Site Engineer / Senior Engineer - Structural Steel

Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: 50,000 - 65,000 (dependent on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Site / Senior Engineer to join a market-leading main contractor within their steel fabrication division. This is a long-term, permanent role focusing on structural steel projects, including steel frame extensions. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out on-site and ensuring project accuracy and alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Setting out the site using surveying equipment
Ensuring precision in site measurements and structural alignment
Collaborating with the project management team to meet project milestones
Adhering to health and safety regulations on-site
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Engineer, particularly with structural steel projects
Proficiency in setting out and surveying techniques
Strong understanding of construction processes and health & safety standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Engineering Degree is preferred but not essential, if you have significant structural steel experience
