My client is a well-established organisation based in Sawbridgeworth, responsible for a diverse and expanding property portfolio. This is a fully in-house position offering long-term stability with no contract or agency work. You will be joining a supportive, permanent team that values professionalism, trust and technical expertise.

They are now seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to carry out surveys across their estate, ensuring full compliance and maintaining high safety standards.

Asbestos Surveying Experience Required:

  • BOHS P402 qualification (additional BOHS modules or willingness to gain them is welcomed)

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in an Asbestos Surveyor role

  • Full UK driving licence (essential for the provided company car)

  • Confident using survey software and digital reporting tools

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Completing Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys across the in-house portfolio

  • Producing clear, accurate asbestos survey reports

  • Staying up to date with asbestos legislation, industry guidance and UKAS best practice

  • Maintaining technical knowledge and awareness of developments in the sector

  • Working closely with internal health and safety and estates teams to support ongoing compliance
