The Associate Building Surveyor's Role
You will take a lead role in project delivery, working closely with clients and stakeholders across a varied portfolio. In addition to hands-on delivery, you'll contribute to the strategic direction of the team, taking on responsibilities including team mentorship, client development, and financial forecasting.
You'll also play a pivotal role in managing multidisciplinary design services internally, ensuring high-quality output and client satisfaction.
The Successful Associate Building Surveyor Will Have
Qualifications:
MRICS (Chartered)
A degree in Building Surveying or related discipline
Knowledge and Attributes:
Previous consultancy experience - ideally with exposure to public sector projects
Strong technical knowledge across the full range of Building Surveying services
Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset toward business development
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Experience mentoring junior team members and coordinating workloads
Able to work independently and manage project teams
A strong work ethic and collaborative approach
