An established and growing multi-disciplinary property consultancy is looking to appoint Building Surveyors to support their continued expansion across the UK. This is a key opportunity for professionals who are either progressing through their APC journey or are already Chartered (MRICS), offering the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of projects and play a vital role in the consultancy's strategic growth plans.
With a strong reputation for delivering tailored, high-quality services, the consultancy operates across a range of sectors, including commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, and education. Their Building Surveying team supports clients through the full asset lifecycle, providing expert advice that balances technical excellence with a commercially driven approach.
The Opportunity
The successful candidates will:
- Deliver a comprehensive range of building surveying services, including:
- Dilapidations and lease advisory matters
- Defect analysis, building pathology, and technical due diligence
- Planned maintenance programmes and lifecycle cost assessments
- Party wall and neighbourly matters
- Schedules of condition and pre-acquisition surveys
- Contract administration and project management for refurbishment and maintenance schemes
- Contribute to the consultancy's long-term growth by developing strong client relationships, identifying opportunities, and providing best-in-class service.
- Work across a variety of property types, from commercial offices and residential schemes to industrial, healthcare, and education assets.
- Progress professionally within a supportive, collaborative environment that offers structured career development pathways and dedicated support for APC candidates.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a Building Surveyor actively working towards APC (minimum 12 months' relevant experience) or an MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor.
- Hold a degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline (RICS-accredited preferred).
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Exhibit a proactive, solution-focused mindset and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
