Their expanding Building Surveying team forms a key part of their multidisciplinary consultancy, supporting clients with trusted advice, technical expertise, and strategic solutions.
The Building Surveyor's Role
The successful Building Surveyor will be joining a diverse team, delivering projects and professional instructions across both the private and public sectors. From detailed Building Survey reports and dilapidations advice to design, contract administration, and party wall matters, you'll gain exposure to a broad scope of instructions. The role also involves close collaboration with clients, contractors, and design teams, as well as opportunities to contribute to the growth and success of the wider consultancy.
The Successful Building Surveyor Will Have
Qualifications:
A relevant degree in Building Surveying or a construction-related discipline
Alternatively, CIOB status and/or demonstrable experience within the construction industry will be considered
Knowledge and attributes:
Strong technical understanding across Building Surveys, Dilapidations, Party Walls, Schedules of Condition, and Contract Administration
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively at all levels
A great team ethic with a proactive and collaborative approach
MRICS status, or working towards, desirable
iMaPS, NEBOSH, or other PD/CDM-C qualifications beneficial but not essential
Full driving licence and own vehicle
