Key responsibilities as the Building Surveyor:
- Managing and delivering a wide range of building surveying services, from condition and dilapidation surveys to design, specification, and project management
- Providing technical advice on construction, refurbishment, and maintenance projects
- Supporting senior colleagues on major capital works while independently managing smaller-scale projects
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, sustainable outcomes
- Contributing to business development and helping strengthen client relationships
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Building Surveying (RICS accredited preferred)
- MRICS qualification or working towards chartership
- Proven experience across multiple sectors such as commercial, education, or public buildings
- Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong contract knowledge (particularly JCT)
