Overview:
We are looking for a qualified Building Surveyor to manage property inspections, maintenance projects, and repairs across its housing stock, covering the whole of North London. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to delivering high-quality, safe, and compliant homes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct property inspections and detailed surveys for social housing.
Manage damp, mould, and disrepair investigations.
Oversee reactive and planned maintenance projects, from planning to completion.
Prepare technical specifications and cost estimates for repairs.
Manage contractors, ensuring quality and compliance with regulations.
Support asset management and long-term maintenance strategies.
Ensure compliance with HHSRS, health and safety, and fire safety standards.
Skills and Experience:
Chartered or working towards (MRICS, MCIOB, or similar).
Experience in building surveying in social housing or residential properties.
Knowledge of building pathology, damp and mould diagnosis, and HHSRS.
Strong project management skills and contractor management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Full UK driving license required.
