Location: North London

Overview:

We are looking for a qualified Building Surveyor to manage property inspections, maintenance projects, and repairs across its housing stock, covering the whole of North London. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to delivering high-quality, safe, and compliant homes.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct property inspections and detailed surveys for social housing.

  • Manage damp, mould, and disrepair investigations.

  • Oversee reactive and planned maintenance projects, from planning to completion.

  • Prepare technical specifications and cost estimates for repairs.

  • Manage contractors, ensuring quality and compliance with regulations.

  • Support asset management and long-term maintenance strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with HHSRS, health and safety, and fire safety standards.



Skills and Experience:

  • Chartered or working towards (MRICS, MCIOB, or similar).

  • Experience in building surveying in social housing or residential properties.

  • Knowledge of building pathology, damp and mould diagnosis, and HHSRS.

  • Strong project management skills and contractor management.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Full UK driving license required.
