Hyperion is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a respected property services organisation for an experienced Interim Building Surveyor to support ongoing asset and compliance programmes across a varied portfolio in West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and solutions-focused professional to step into a dynamic team and make an immediate impact in delivering repairs, block management, and contractor oversight.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake property inspections, condition surveys, and report on necessary remedial works.
  • Oversee day-to-day contractor management across repairs, refurbishment, and block compliance projects.
  • Ensure works are delivered to specification, on time, and in line with health & safety and statutory requirements.
  • Support the delivery of asset management strategies and contribute to capital planning.
  • Maintain accurate property and compliance records using asset management systems.

 What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in building surveying, ideally within housing, local authority or public sector environments.
  • Strong knowledge of repairs, refurbishments, and block compliance.
  • Confident managing contractors and external stakeholders to ensure quality and cost control.
  • Proficiency in relevant IT systems and property data platforms.
  • MRICS, CIOB or equivalent qualifications preferred, though not essential for strong candidates with relevant experience.
