A long-established Building Surveying and Valuation consultancy, with over 50 years' experience in the commercial property sector, are keen to speak with a career-minded Chartered Building Surveyor to join their growing national team. Offering the successful Surveyor the opportunity to work on a unique mix of professional services and project work across sectors such as healthcare, hospitality, and specialist commercial businesses, this is a role that combines autonomy, variety, and long-term career progression.

The Chartered Building Surveyor's Role

As the successful Building Surveyor, you'll join a well-established team and take on a client-facing, autonomous role, delivering acquisition surveys and professional advice for a wide range of commercial assets, including hotels, care homes, and healthcare premises. You'll also support project management duties, dilapidations, life cycle costings, maintenance planning, and refurbishment design work.

Your day-to-day will involve managing tasks efficiently, meeting deadlines, and contributing to the team's ongoing success through new and repeat business development.

The Successful Chartered Building Surveyor Will Have

Qualifications:

  • BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying - RICS accredited

  • Chartered MRICS status

Knowledge and Attributes:

  • A strong background in both pre- and post-contract project management

  • Client-facing experience with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Comfortable with UK travel where required

  • A proactive and professional approach to workload and relationship management
