Role Responsibilities Materials Tech/Site engineer:

  • Routine inspections, sampling and testing Aggregate/recycled and Earthworks materials, Concrete and Asphalt
  • Leading the production of compressive strength specimens
  • Taking part in research and development projects Particle size and density testing
  • Physical material trials, reporting findings and specific progress

Desirable:

  • Experience working within a test lab within construction i.e CET, Socotec, ESG etc.
  • Experience as a construction materials technician, laboratory technician or site engineer within construction.
  • Knowledge of granular materials sampling, particle size distribution testing and strength testing would be beneficial.
  • Desire to learn and develop within this role, attitude is crucial
