Fire & Security Project Engineer – London – £46,000–£48,000 + Package

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Project Engineer to join a well-established fire and security specialist operating across London and the surrounding areas. This role is suited to an engineer with strong technical knowledge who can take ownership of projects from installation through to commissioning and handover.

The position is field-based and focused on delivering fire and security projects to a high professional standard across domestic and commercial environments.

Package & Benefits

• Salary £46,000 – £48,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Role & Responsibilities

• Delivering fire and security projects from installation through to completion

• Installation, commissioning, and handover of fire and security systems

• Carrying out small works, upgrades, and system modifications

• Managing your own workload and supporting project delivery on site

• Completing system documentation, asset logs, and handover paperwork

• Liaising with the office, project managers, and clients to ensure smooth delivery

• Working across domestic and commercial properties

• Ensuring all works comply with British Standards, regulations, and health & safety requirements

• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism on site

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Fire & Security Project Engineer or Installation Engineer

• Strong technical knowledge of fire and security systems

• Experience installing and commissioning CCTV, Access Control, and Fire Alarm systems

• Entrotec experience advantageous; fire alarm experience beneficial

• Good understanding of British Standards and compliance requirements

• Relevant qualifications such as NSI, LPCB, City & Guilds (desirable)

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently

• Experience within the construction and fire & security industry

• Clean criminal record with the ability to pass DBS / security screening
