A well-regarded and expanding fire and security firm is looking to bring an experienced engineer into their London-based team. If you're confident across both installs and servicing-and enjoy variety in your workload-this could be just what you're after.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on position where you'll work across a wide mix of security and fire protection systems. Your day could involve anything from installing a new fire alarm system to fault-finding on a CCTV network, or commissioning access control systems to meet compliance standards.
Key Duties:
Carry out installs, services, and repairs on fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
Diagnose faults and complete maintenance with minimal disruption
Commission systems to ensure full compliance with relevant regulations
Keep service reports, maintenance logs, and all documentation up to date
Engage with clients professionally-offering guidance, updates, and support as needed
What You'll Need:
Solid background in both installation and servicing of fire and security systems
Working knowledge of CCTV, access control, intruder, and fire alarm systems
Familiarity with current fire safety laws and British Standards
Full UK driving licence
Self-motivated, adaptable, and confident working alone or in a team
Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach
It's a Bonus If You Have:
Experience with Galaxy panels and a range of fire alarm systems
CSCS/ECS card
IPAF or PASMA certifications
