We are currently seeking reliable and proactive Temporary Fire Marshals to ensure the safety and security of a residential development in East London during night-time operations.
This is a crucial role requiring individuals who are committed to maintaining a safe environment for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to identify and address potential fire hazards.
- Ensure all fire exits are clear, accessible, and correctly signed.
- Check that fire extinguishers and other fire safety equipment are in place and in good working order.
- Maintain accurate records of checks and any incidents.
- Act as the first point of contact in the event of a fire alarm or other emergency, following established procedures.
- Assist with the safe evacuation of personnel if required.
- Communicate effectively with site staff and emergency services.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Fire Marshal or in a similar safety-related role is highly desirable.
- Recognized Fire Marshal training certification.
- A good understanding of fire safety regulations and procedures.
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and act effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work night
- Valid right to work in the UK.
