- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems in accordance with current British Standards and client requirements.
- Identify faults and carry out minor repairs, replacements or upgrades as needed.
- Complete all relevant documentation and service reports accurately and promptly.
- Liaise professionally with clients, providing clear updates and technical support where necessary.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety legislation, company procedures, and industry best practices.
- Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota as required.
- Competitive basic salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum, depending on experience

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems (GENT, Notifier, Advanced, Kentec, Morley or similar)
- Good working knowledge of BS5839 standards and relevant regulations
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- BAFE certification or equivalent industry qualifications
- FIA units or certifications (such as Design, Maintenance, or Installation modules)
- Experience working in commercial, industrial, or high-security environments
- ECS/CSCS card
- Experience with emergency lighting or other life safety systems is a plus
