Graduate BIM Technician

£35,000 - £37,000 + Ongoing Training & Development + Flexible Working + Yearly Bonus

Are you a recent graduate with degree in a building services related degree and a placement year or year in industry under your belt, looking to kick-start your career in building services consultancy?

This well-established building services consultancy is known for delivering high-quality, technically complex, and environmentally responsible solutions. With a strong focus on collaboration and continuous development, the company is growing its digital design team and looking for a motivated graduate to contribute to a wide variety of exciting projects.

In this role, you'll work alongside experienced BIM Technicians and Engineers to create and coordinate accurate digital models and drawings. As you gain experience, you'll take on more responsibility, helping to deliver well-coordinated, efficient designs that support a more sustainable built environment.

This role is ideal for a graduate in Building Services, Architectural Technology, Construction, or a similar discipline, who has some hands-on experience with Revit and AutoCAD and is ready to take the next step in their career.

THE ROLE

  • Develop accurate digital models and drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
  • Apply coordination principles with attention to technical and spatial detail
  • Ensure compliance with internal BIM standards and workflows
  • Support engineers across project stages, particularly RIBA Stages 2-4
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hour contract with flexible working (start any time before 10:00 am)

THE PERSON

  • Recent graduate in a Built Environment-related discipline (e.g. Building Services, Architectural Technology, Construction Management)
  • Completed a placement/year in industry in a design or construction environment
  • Familiar with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
  • Basic understanding of BIM principles and MEP systems
