We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Building Surveyor to join the London office of a national consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career with structured professional development, varied project experience, and support towards achieving RICS Chartership.

The Role:
As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you will work closely with their experienced team to deliver a wide range of building surveying services across different sectors. You will gain hands-on experience in project management, technical due diligence, refurbishment, and maintenance schemes, and will assist in building surveys, feasibility studies, and design work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct building surveys, condition assessments, and defect analysis
  • Assist in preparing reports, specifications, and contract documents
  • Support project delivery from inception to completion across a range of sectors
  • Provide professional advice on property and construction matters
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Assist with planning applications and building regulations submissions
  • Support senior surveyors in providing expert advice on conservation and restoration projects

Requirements:

  • A degree in Building Surveying (RICS accredited) with a minimum 2:1 classification
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Commitment to completing your APC and achieving MRICS status
  • A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential
