Senior Chartered Building Surveyor
Location: London (Hybrid)
Salary: 55,000 - 65,000 (+ Car Allowance & Benefits)
A leading independent consultancy is seeking to appoint a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor to join their established team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious surveyor to work across a wide variety of commercial property assets, gaining direct exposure to clients and contributing to the continued success and direction of the business.
You will work with a diverse range of clients, property professionals, and stakeholders on projects that span acquisition, improvement, and ongoing management of commercial buildings. Key Responsibilities
- Undertake a broad range of professional and project work, including:
- Acquisition and dilapidations surveys and negotiation
- Planned Preventative Maintenance programmes
- Contract Administration / Project Management
- Statutory compliance and technical due diligence
- Manage client relationships, ensuring service excellence and alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee multiple projects, balancing priorities and maintaining attention to detail.
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines and regional offices to deliver joined-up client solutions.
- Contribute to business development, supporting the ongoing growth of the regional team.
Qualifications & Experience
- MRICS-qualified Building Surveyor (or equivalent level of experience).
- Proven track record delivering both professional and project-based building surveying services.
- Excellent technical knowledge across commercial property sectors.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills, with the ability to lead relationships independently.
- Experience working in a consultancy or client-side environment is preferred.
