Senior Project Manager / Building SurveyorRemote£65,000 - £85,000 DOE negotiable salary depending on individual + car allowance + remote work + full project autonomy + 25 days + BH This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior-level Building Surveyor with strong project management experience to join a respected, specialist consultancy delivering complex, high-end commercial fit-out projects. You’ll be entrusted with true ownership — managing schemes from inception to completion, working directly with occupier clients, and shaping outcomes with confidence and autonomy.Founded by a highly experienced Director with a background in both consultancy and client-side development, the firm has been built on a foundation of pure passion and deep industry expertise. It has earned a reputation for delivering technically robust and commercially intelligent advice to some of the UK’s most recognisable occupiers — including Pokémon, Sainsbury’s, Twinings, and major private equity clients. As the Director now steps away from day-to-day project delivery to focus more on business development, they are seeking a trusted Senior Surveyor to take the lead and continue driving client success.You’ll join a focused and experienced team of four surveyors, working closely with the Director, who values collaboration and ensures each team member has a genuine voice in shaping project strategy. The role offers remote working flexibility, with occasional collaboration in one of London’s most prestigious and architecturally impressive office spaces.This position is ideal for a proactive individual who can hit the ground running and brings proven expertise in Cat A and Cat B commercial fit-out projects.Responsibilities:
  • Lead Cat A and B commercial fit out projects across the UK, with typical values ranging from £1m to £10m+
  • Act as the Employer’s Agent, overseeing contract administration, programme management, and procurement
  • Work closely with clients to understand operational objectives and deliver projects aligned with their business needs
  • Manage financial reporting, quality assurance, compliance, and risk
  • Represent the consultancy with professionalism and commercial awareness at every stage of the project lifecycle
The Person:
  • Experience as a Senior Building Surveyor
  • Experience managing Cat A and B commercial fit outs, ideally with full project lifecycle involvement
  • Deep understanding of JCT contracts, including Design & Build and Intermediate form
  • A successful track record acting as Employer’s Agent
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness, with experience in financial oversight and risk management
