A Site Technician is required to join a building surveying consultancy on a permanent basis in London. As a Site Technician, you will be responsible for working in a small team on projects involving testing, sampling and construction material removal so these structures can be inspected. Responsibilities include leading and running smaller-sized site projects, preparing site documents (such as reports, risk assessments and method statements), producing CAD drawings, assisting junior technicians in their development, assisting engineers in testing, inspecting and surveying, maintaining accurate and detailed records equipment and tools, transporting materials to and from site, and maintaining the cleanliness of sites.

The successful candidate will have at least 2-years' experience working on construction sites, experience working with surveying kit (such as GPR, covermeter, and core drilling etc), have GCSE qualifications in Maths, English and Science at A*-C, and have a valid UK driving license. You must also be able to use initiative to solve challenges encountered on site, be able to work independently and as part of a team, be organised, reliable, hardworking, enthusiastic, and have good communication, problem solving, and physical and practical skills in maths and science. A HNC / HND or equivalent in a relevant discipline, as well as being familiar with AutoCAD is advantageous but not essential.
