Technical Officer - Highways
Location: London (Hybrid)
Contract: 3-6 months
Rate: 拢250/day (Inside IR35)
Start Date: ASAP
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Technical Officer to support the Highways team. This role involves delivering technical and datadriven work across asset management and construction projects. You will report directly to the Head of Highways and work closely with a range of internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
路Prepare technical responses, reports, and correspondence for senior officers and Members
路Support NEC4 contract management and liaise with suppliers
路Analyse highways and asset data to inform decision-making
路Assist with the delivery of construction and maintenance projects
路Respond to FOIs and general information requests
路Coordinate with other teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects and programmes
Qualifications & Experience
路Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related field
路Several years of experience in highways, construction, or asset management
路Knowledge of NEC4 contracts
路Strong written and verbal communication skills
路Excellent organisational and analytical skills
