Junior Garment Technologist: The Candidate
This is an exciting and challenging role for a highly motivated individual who has great attention to detail, both in measuring garments and keeping accurate records.

  • You will need to have good communication skills
  • Quick Learner
  • Very organised and good time management skills
  • Accurate, precise & methodical
  • Confident & Enthusiastic
  • Excellent IT skills Word & Excel
  • Must be able to work under pressure to deadlines
  • Previous Garment Industry Experience is required.
  • Experience in factory preparations, factory samples and workbooks, is a must have.
  • Experience working on customer systems: ASOS, Next & Lipsey would be a bonus

Junior Garment Technologist: - The Role
It is very administrative
  • Assisting the senior technician and general helping out on other accounts.
  • Working very closely with the Production/Technical team this position will involve:
  • Measuring garments and creating specs
  • Working closely with the Technicians on all aspects of each style in order to:
  • Create technical packs for production including cloth sheets, sketches, specs and make notes for the factory
  • Check factories copy samples against this paperwork and send to factories
  • Request and organising production team fabrics
  • Follow critical paths for delivery dates, flag up delays to sales team.
  • Follow instruction and internal systems.
