Our client is an advisory consultancy specialising in HR, Payroll, Procurement and Finance transformation. Their mission is to support clients to optimise the way in which these services are delivered to their business, end users and wider stakeholders.

Your focus will be on identifying potential customers and generating new business opportunities in Finance transformation, bringing experience of working in the Finance transformation space and a network of people who could be interested in working with our client.

About the role:

Identifying Prospects - Using their network, events and marketing team to identify potential clients who could benefit from digital transformation services in Finance and Procurement. This involves researching industries, companies, and decision-makers who are likely to be interested in upgrading their systems. It also involves an integrated relationship with Marketing to open new channels and relationships, as well as extending Finance leader networks.

Managing Pipeline - Once you’ve identified prospects, you’ll manage them through the sales pipeline and report progress in the CRM. You will work with the Finance SMEs and solution experts to define a client solution, ensuring it is clearly articulated and responds to the client need you have identified. You will oversee the relationship with the prospect and ensure they have access to the right information and colleagues. If the opportunity is part of an RFP process, you will ensure that the team is clear on the client outcomes and requirements, providing the single conduit into the client team.

Skills and Capabilities

  • Business Development & sales - building pipeline and networks (Must have)
  • Marketing - supporting development of collateral, events and webinars (Must Have)
  • Finance qualified - ACCA or CIMA (Desired but not essential)
  • Finance operations and process improvement
  • Finance transformation / optimisation
  • Finance systems (Tier 1)
