Milliways is a down-to-earth company that makes out-of-this-world snacks. A couple of years ago, we discovered that conventional gum was made up of chewy plastic ingredients, so we set off on a mission to reduce the amount of single-use plastic going into our bodies and the environment. Enter - Milliways Plastic-Free Gum.
We’re a results orientated, culture-first company, and the fastest-growing gum manufacturer in the UK. In the last year alone, we’ve launched internationally in the US and France and dropped a mega pack alongside some brand-new flavours.
We’re looking for someone with passion, curiosity and energy to join the team to drive new business and more growth across existing and new customers and channels.
The Role?
- Own, drive awareness, compliance and ultimately sales across your patch of London.
- Support the Sales Director and wider team driving growth (distribution and ROS).
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing grocery, OOH and convenience retailers.
- Conduct store audits within current accounts to ensure product is correctly merchandised and win additional space.
- Identify, nurture and win new business on your patch.
- Be a team player and communicate all retail observations across the business.
- Sampling - especially when the suns out
About You?
- 1+ years into your sales career within FMCG or just out of uni and ready for a fast start?
- Commercially minded and curious.
- A people person, using this skill to develop strong commercial relationships through questioning and listening.
- Confident in overcoming challenges.
- A team player. Ready to bring energy and passion to the office.
- Have an in-depth understanding or curiosity of sales performance metrics (experience with CRM software is desirable but not essential), MS Excel and other software must be a given.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and a solution focused problem solver.
- Self-motivated and competitive with a positive can do attitude and willingness to learn.
- Able to multi task and manage time accordingly and to tight deadlines.

- Salary: £25-29k DOE + Company pension scheme + 25 days holiday (plus bank hols).
