Commercial Manager (Pre- Construction)

£90,000 - £105,000 Per Annum
TRS are working with a world- class infrastructure provider that work on a number of the UK and Europes largest construction projects. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Pre- Construction Commercial Manager to join their team on a Permanent basis.
About you
Extensive experience in tendering, cost estimation (both via first principal pricing and supply chain), and contract management.
Strong experience in preconstruction and or Commercial Management within the construction sector.
Ability to forecast costs, assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Working knowledge of commercial practice and contract law.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for a variety task which include:
Oversee financial, commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects as well as driving profitability during the Pre-Construction phase.
Winning new business, exploring new avenues and seek out new opportunities to help the company develop and grow.
Support the estimating team in completing tenders and submitting competitive and compliant bids.
Deliver BOQs obtained from client drawings and specifications as well as undertaking checks on BOQs produced by the estimators.
