Are you a Shared Ownership Sales Agent? Are you looking for a role that can offer flexibility options?

A leading housing provider is seeking a motivated and experienced Resales Sales Consultant to join their homeownership team. Based in the city, this is an exciting opportunity for someone with a solid understanding of shared ownership, resales, and staircasing to deliver a high-quality service to both customers and external partners.

You will be the main point of contact for homeowners and buyers, managing a caseload of resales and interim staircasing transactions from initial enquiry through to completion, while ensuring regulatory compliance and excellent customer service throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of shared ownership resales and interim staircasing cases

  • Achieve and exceed monthly targets on buyer offers and listing KPIs

  • Handle customer enquiries by phone and email in a professional and knowledgeable manner

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records on CRM systems

  • Carry out buyer credit checks and ensure anti-money laundering compliance

  • Guide customers through the resales and staircasing process, providing accurate and timely updates

  • Interpret leases and provide clear advice on home ownership issues

  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders, including IFAs, solicitors, surveyors and marketing professionals

  • Offer marketing guidance in line with CPR and Homes England funding rules

  • Ensure all activities comply with GDPR and internal best practice

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of shared ownership resales and staircasing processes

  • Experience working with legal documents such as leases, and an understanding of home ownership legislation

  • Familiarity with money laundering regulations and financial assessments

  • Experience working with a range of IT systems, including CRM and case management tools

  • Ability to interpret financial and mortgage information

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Capable of working independently under pressure and to strict deadlines

  • Some B2B experience preferred
