Job Summary:
As a Sales Representative, you’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and closing deals. You'll work closely with our technical and marketing teams to understand client needs and present tailored software solutions that solve real-world business problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold outreach, inbound leads, networking, and events.
- Understand client needs and propose software solutions that align with their goals.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demos.
- Collaborate with the technical team to scope out project requirements and timelines.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals.
- Maintain CRM records and regularly update pipeline status.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with prospective and current clients.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competition, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in the tech or software development sector.
- Strong understanding of software development services, SaaS, or IT solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Nice to Have:
- Existing network in tech/startup or enterprise space.
- Experience selling to CTOs, product managers, or technical decision-makers.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or product development lifecycles.
