Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for BMS projects, including hardware, software, and installation.
- Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure all aspects of the project are considered.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and project management teams to ensure estimates reflect project requirements.
- Analyze historical project data to inform future estimates and improve accuracy.
- Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing and clarify scope.
- Support the bidding process by preparing detailed proposals and assisting with commercial presentations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market pricing, trends, and BMS technologies.
Desired Experience:
- Proven experience estimating BMS or building automation projects.
- Strong understanding of BMS systems, controls, and integration.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite.
