Electrical Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee the installation, maintenance, and compliance of temporary electrical site services on a major construction project. This is a key role ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of temporary power solutions across the site.

Electrical Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all temporary electrical site works.

• Manage a team of electricians and subcontractors.

• Ensure all works comply with current regulations (BS 7671, HSE guidelines, etc.).

• Liaise with site management, project engineers, and safety teams.

• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.

• Oversee installation of temporary power, lighting, and distribution boards.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, permits, and certifications.

• Monitor use of materials and ensure cost-effective practices.

• Ensure site-wide electrical systems are safe, reliable, and compliant.

Electrical Supervisor Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.

• ECS Gold Card

• SSSTS or SMSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme).

• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.

• Experience supervising temporary site electrical works.

• Strong understanding of site safety protocols.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
