Summary of role

To support in the safe delivery of projects on time, to budget and in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.

What you will be doing

  • Assist Project Manager/Engineer with preparation of site files including Health and Safety files for site-based activity.
  • Maintaining site records including marked up drawings showing % of works completed each week, alterations, delays, progress reports, show and record all changes contributing to end of contract record drawings and certifications.
  • Supervise on-site labour ensuring they are working in the areas as required by our contract and their order.
  • Monitor on-site labour levels ensuring appropriate and agreed levels of labour and certificated plant is supplied, where applicable, by the Sub Contractor.
  • Actively identify early work areas to better the programme.
  • Ensure where required, client is brief and aware of on-site activities and provided project progress updates when required.
  • Provide Project Manager/Engineer with regular updates including potential contract charges, snagging, programme slippage, labour resource or material issues, access issues, potential on-site conflicts.

What we’ll need from you

  • Working knowledge of BS EN 12845, BS9251:2021 & LPS1048 Schemes (essential)
  • Working knowledge of engineering drawings (essential)
  • LPCB Testing & Commissioning Module 2 Competent (desirable)
  • LPCB Site Inspection Module 1 Competent (desirable)
  • Practiced at management of on-site labour & resources (essential)
  • Valid SMSTS (essential)
  • CSCS Gold Card Holder (desirable)
  • Knowledge of CDM Management Principles (essential)
  • Extensive knowledge of project documentation eg. RAMs, Quality (essential)
