We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Manager with a strong background in fast-track retail fit-out projects to lead high-profile schemes across the UK. You will oversee the end-to-end delivery of fast-paced retail fit-out contracts, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to exceptional quality standards.

This role offers the flexibility to be based anywhere in the UK, with travel to project sites as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple fast-track retail fit-out projects, delivering within tight timelines and demanding client specifications.

  • Oversee procurement, subcontractor coordination, and resource allocation to maintain project momentum.

  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in high-pressure retail environments.

  • Build and maintain robust client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for retail brands and stakeholders.

  • Monitor project progress, produce detailed reports, and proactively mitigate risks to meet critical deadlines.

  • Collaborate with design, commercial, and site teams to deliver seamless retail fit-out projects.

Skills and Experience Required
  • Extensive experience as a Contracts Manager in fast-track retail fit-out or refurbishment projects.

  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality retail fit-outs under tight deadlines, with a focus on commercial and brand-driven environments.

  • Strong project management expertise, with a track record of successfully managing budgets, schedules, and resources in fast-paced settings.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT) and commercial management within the retail sector.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to drive teams and manage retail client expectations.

  • Ability to work independently, with flexibility to travel to retail project sites across the UK.

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent) are desirable.

  • Full UK driving licence.
