Insurance Reinstatements

London / Greater London (ideally based in the SE / BR postcode area)

£45 - 55k plus car allowance (or other vehicle options)

We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join an expanding and successful company in their insurance repairs division in the Greater South London / Kent area (ideally in or close to the BR/SE postcode area).

The successful Contracts Manager will oversee a team of trades carrying out reinstatement projects, mainly residential claims up to £100k. Following the initial visit (carried out by a surveyor in the team who will scope the works), the Contracts Manager will be responsible for the allocation of trades and daily site management of a caseload of projects across the greater London area.

You will have a team of direct trades and the use of specialist of sub-contractors as well as claims coordinator admin support.

Job role and responsibilities

This role will suit an experienced Contracts Manager with experience in the insurance claims reinstatement industry

  • Overseeing residential reinstatements following insurance claims (fire, flood, escape of water etc.)
  • Managing spend & budget/profit on each project
  • Monitoring all KPI’s and SLA’s
  • Allocating and scheduling resource (direct trades and sub-contractors)
  • Manage and monitor variations; ensuring delays are minimised and profitability is achieved
  • Dealing with any issues arising on-site and managing any complaints
  • Ensuring Health & Safety regulations are met

What skills/experience will you need?

For this role you will need to demonstrate experience in managing medium to high value repairs projects from inception to completion. You will need a strong background in residential property building/refurbishments and have had experience in managing direct trades / sub-contractors.

A full UK driving licence is required (car or allowance provided).

Package details

In addition to the Contracts Manager salary (£45k-55k) you will receive a car allowance (or car options), 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension etc.
